Yo!!
I have been extremely busy these days. Never been so busy since college. Well, like I said before, 2012 gives me good vibes(about my future) =P so I’m bound to be busy. Finally I decided to ditch engineering(without my parents knowledge) and pursue what truly makes me happy =D – This is not applicable if I get rejected from the college I’m applying, so looking at alternatives too… ahem!! I’m applying for an M.S in Digital Media Technology offered at Nanyang Tech. University, Singapore. The course has got some rave reviews and is supposed to be awesome. The applicant’s might be awesome-r still so had to work really hard on getting those precious letters of recommendation from my university professors and prepare my own little statement of purpose. *sigh*
I wrote my IELTS exam on 7th and the results will be out tomorrow. I did well in everything else except the speaking test :o I was never really good at extempore and I got a really stoooopid question :( –’Talk about your favorite nursery rhyme – what role did the person who taught you the rhyme play in your childhood? what do you like most about the rhyme?? why do you dislike most about the rhyme??‘ o.O I was like ‘whaaaa…???’ Irrespective of what my favorite rhyme was, the only rhyme that came to my mind was ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’. And instead of thinking about all those questions I thought about who composed the tune of the rhyme. I was almost sure it was Mozart, but then my time to cook up a good speech got over and I gave my extempore like this – ‘Umm… My favorite rhyme was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I forgot the teacher who taught me, so she might’ve been a completely oblivious factor in my childhood. What I like about the rhyme is the fact that it’s easy to remember and why I dislike it is because every other rhyme I know has the same tune. err… well that’s all I have to say’. I had two minutes to speak, I finished it in 30 secs. Talk about being precise. This is why engineers should never give an IELTS test. :P hehe… but anyway, it’s a requirement so had to give. =)
So then after that hurdle got crashed on, I moved on to the next one – getting some super awesome letters of recommendation. After procrastinating like… forever, I went to college day before yesterday to get them. A journey which usually takes about 2hrs took 4, blame the traffic! Anyway, my professors were really sweet(awww…) and considerate to write me two very inspiring letters that day itself =) (power of the alumini, well they don’t care about the students otherwise). It was a truly nostalgic journey =)
This is my college.

Inside the college – just a glimpse =)

The shortcut path always taken to go to the nearby food stall… =P

Stayed there long enough to see my juniors and chat on and on and on… so really didn’t get time to get those shots which I had planned of getting :( blaahh… there is always a next time! =)
And so, after all those stressful nail biting days(not really) I went to the beach =D such a good stress buster =)

This is my ma’s hometown. Beautiful isn’t it??? This bridge was build by the British around the 1890′s. Still standing with zero maintenance o.O

Everybody comes down here in the evening.

Some people pass time fishing… well… they don’t usually get any and they’re always half asleep =P

And what visit to the beach is complete without a sunset??

Ahh… now I’m fully refreshed and ready for the next round of applications =) bring it on =P
