Doodle #2

I’m learning to doodle. Seriously. I’m really incapable of doodling, which I learned is a very helpful habit. All my so called doodles are just a pile of random lines which never make any sense o.O So I thought of letting my mind roam free and let my hand take over instead of thinking too much. This is the result! =)

The Last of the Rains

Glimpses from the last days of the season. Finally the rains and cyclones have receded for good(hopefully).

The fruit captured is Bilimbi, locally it’s called Pulinjikka = Poo-lin-jee-kya =D it’s very sour and when dried and pickled it’s just awesome!!! =D slurrrpp….!!! Spring is definitely here, I’m waiting for the next wave of fruits =D

Evergreen

Slurrppp!!! =)

Gooseberries are in season now. Our tree just bore a gazillion of them this time. *way to go girl* =P It’s not humanly possible to eat so much, even in between days or weeks, especially when it’s so sour and when you are the only person in the entire neighborhood actually interested in eating those berries. And kids these days don’t want any salted gooseberries. I actually offered them some, they gave me really funny looks =P Me and my cousins used to go gaga over salted-sour-fruits when we were kids =D It’s really tasty when you eat it with a pinch of salt and a teeny bit of chilli powder. grrr… my mouth is watering… slurrpp!! =P But it’s just not possible to eat even a little too much, your tongue will feel funny after eating quite a few.

The sad thing is nobody wants it here. The birds don’t want them, the squirrels don’t want them – ’cause it’s so damn sour! So when nobody eats them, they fall down and decay. Such a sad fate for a glorious beginning.

But that’s how nature works, so I guess it’s ok =)
